RARE FIND
Silk thread originally made in Japan then imported to Germany by Waldemar Ernst General Agency of the Mundlos Sewing Machine Co. According to a decendant of this Waldemar family, during the first World War Ernst Waldemar and his family sought refuge in Japan. This silk thread was discovered in a cellar in Japan in 1927 and brought to Canada in 1956. It is set in 100 yard reels and we have approximately 380 reels that will be sold on a first come basis for $10.00 each reel
